Never thought I was in a War

I didn't think I was in a war

didn't seem all that bad, sure there was a lot of negativity at school



kids doing drugs....parties everywhere



sexting each other...a junior high kid charged with a DUI....



but hey we were Church kids...Sunday School bunch


we knew the law...well enough of it anyway....


         but one thing led to another and then....further...


Now we're on trial...I may get send to prison


the Pastor said we were in some sort of Spiritual war


we silently laughed at that...how out of touch he was


nobody is laughing now.....I thought  trouble  was something you know


Non Church kids get into


now I'm looking at 5-10 years


I got hit


                         and I never saw it coming


never thought anything bad would ever happen to me...
