A Poem by Clarity Valentine
"

I wrote this poem because this explains me in my life. I'm not very good at poetry but... I tried.

"
She smiles so sweetly
She laughs so loud
She tells them a joke
And they believe she's fine.

What they didn't know
Was behind those smiles
Is a girl living with scars
And fears that fill her mind.

She's a morning light
But what they didn't know
During the fall of night
She breaks apart and cries.

I think a lot of people can relate to this, I know I can from time to time. Don't be afraid to find a friend that you can trust so you can open up with, writing helps with these feelings but sharing with others can also help. Also don't worry about thinking your not good at writing poetry, just keep writing your feelings and thoughts and with practice I am sure you will improve.

Good job

Outwardly a smiling normal girl, inside a suffering soul.
Great first poem.
Well done.
