Addicted

She is addicted.

Hiding behind a fake smile.

As pain sits on her shoulders.

She continues to stay with him a while.

He shows her a new world.

A world of painless days.

Another dose she swallows.

In his arms she lays.

Reality is not here.

It is no where to be found.

She's bloody and broken.

He picks her up off the ground.

The trance in his actions. 

Much fear in her eyes.

He keeps her again.

Now nothing but her cries.
