Candle Light

Candle Light

A Poem by InsanityIsBeautiful

A candle lit for my past.
For there is no return.
Remember why i'm here.
As all my memories shall burn.

They burn like a book.
A set flame in the night.
Unleashing my deepest secrets.
If only this would make things right.

Maybe I am right.
I'm starting to think its too late.
There is nothing I can do.
I think I have met my fate.

Fires appear to burn with more brilliance
in the night and consu;ming ,those flames
force one to give up mysteries that would
otherwise be unnoticed.
Nothing is ever made right, but the cleansing
flames remind others that we are all one .
None of us will ever escape the flameing conscience
that reminds us of traversing the wrong path.

Beautiful poem, creatively constructed.

Thank you,

Very nice. I could easily agree with this! You have a beautiful way of constructing your poems. I love the way you rhymed throughout it. I loved it! Great job. :):)
