Disappearing Grey

Disappearing Grey

A Poem by Alecz
"

This poem is dedicated to my little kitten who has passed away in October. Love you, baby girl.

"
I've been sitting here,
Wondering where you've been.
I can't find you in the place you used to sit.
This dark space,
It's nothing but a taunt...
When your presence has been absent.
My pride has been swallowed.
My heart has been hollowed.
My head has been heavy.
I've found a place to cry,
It's in your spot.
I've found a place to love,
It was in your heart.
All this music is empty
All these words,
They haunt me.
When will you come back, to see me?
When will I fall to peace?
You're gone, now.
No longer in pain.
Yet, I am sitting here,
Wondering where you've been.
I can scream, no longer.
I can breathe, no deeper.
I can fight, no tougher.
...Cause you're still here...
