The Abyss

This poem is dedicated to my best friend, Cappy. I love her lots, and will never give up, on her.

How did I get to be so lucky?
How could one person mean so much?
How does one simply stop their yearning?

You are special to me.
But am I special to you?
Oh, I wish these days would change.

I promise to be there.
Hold you in every grasp of my faithful love.
I am so... I am so committed to you.

These kind of moments...
They really make my heart ache and cry for more.

When you're around
I swear I'm not losing my mind
When you look at me with those eyes.
Is this how I know you're the one?

The stars
They are aligned, now.
I've ran for so long.
This abyss is never ending.

I keep running
Knowing you'll be at the end
You swear you'd never leave.
I promise the same

It's never gonna change.
This feeling, inside.
I tried to stop and turn around.
But the beginning of the abyss repels me.

We are painted on this canvas.
I am trapped inside the boundaries.
