RejectionA Poem by Alecz
Faithful eyes daring dreadful hate.
Staring through the window pane. Gouged eyes shedding rain. Crying laughter being subdued. I reject the pain, but let the words fall through the cracks in my lips. Closed teeth, clenched. Summon the little child. The one that innocence has refused. It has traveled past the eyes of the small infant It has fallen into the dark abyss of fallen hope. The presence has gone, Yet the feeling has stayed. Strayed away from one's sincereness. It has escaped the fate of the needy. It has appeared, as the presence, of evil. Laughing at your pain. Enjoy, young child. You have received your rejection. © 2014 AleczFeatured Review
