Morning Bean

Morning Bean

A Poem by Jenna
"

Randomly thing about coffee and this was born

"

Bleary eyed, a zombie like walk.

Into the kitchen I drag and stalk.

The coffeepot is my destination ahead.

One sip of Joe and all thoughts vanquish of bed.

In goes the coffee grains, the water flows at a steady drip.

I open a pack of biscotti  ready to dip, I stare at the coffee pot ready for a sip.

Hot liquid pours into my cup, the first taste melts all my problems away.

Caffeinated, energized I'm ready for the day.

Amazing write, and with a subject that is hard to make interesting. But you pull it off with flying colors.

This was such a celebration of all things java good! I love biscotti too, so your words make for the perfect morning waking after the long night rising zombie walk. You should randomly think about coffee more often!
