Love's First Sight (Part 3)

Love's First Sight (Part 3)

A Story by Kristin

The rising wind power shifted as I slowed to a hault, no longer falling, but my eyes still glued shut. A chill swept down my spine as a bright white light appeared underneath my eyelids. I walked towards it, reaching out to the handsome boy I long to meet again. Was I dead or was I still living with a few seconds remaining? Who cares anymore, as I am enjoying this last image of him?

"Please, hear me" A familiar, perfect voice whispered in my ear. "Please tell me I'm not too late." He begged as I slowly opened my eyelids.

There I layed, in his evenly pale, icy arms wrapped around me tightly. His face inches away from mine as I blushed out of control. I knew I was dreaming and or dead. He was too real, to lucious, too.. perfect in compare to an ordinary such as myself. I wanted to scream to wake myself up from this heart wrenching nightmare, but my voice was held back. I couldn't speak, I couldn't cry, emotionless at best, but no, I was happy. Happy to see his face, happy to feel his touch, relieved, but I lept out of his arms, losing my balance.

I tripped over my own two feet and fell backwards back into his arms. He tightened his grip, and his icy skin shocked me like two magnets drawn closer to eachother. Opposite in beauty, but has a strengthed love.

He leaned in closer to my ear and whispered in such a voice that it was irresistable to ignore. "Please, just tell me if you're alright. Please listen to me!"

"I'm..fine" I chocked out more than a whisper.

He smirked and stood up with me in his arms. I snuggled closer to his chest, taking in his scent. The wonderful, perfect, delicious scent filled my nose with delight. The aroma was just heart warming. I didn't know him this well, not by heart, though I loved him without even knowing him. He was real, I was alive, we were together again, or at least for now.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Please..Listen to me" I said between sobs afraid of his answer. "Dont leave me again. Don't leave me. I..need you."

I closed my eyes, waiting for his answer. "I promise I won't leave you, not that I ever did." He laughed then smiled. "I was always in your room waiting for you to wake up, but leaving before you had the chance to see me. I was always walking behind you in the school halls, and I've been lingering behind you while you waited on the hill for me to return."

My mouth fell open as he locked his lips to mine. My eyes shot open like I've been fired out of a cannon, but I didn't reject him, he kissed with such intensity that he was out of my league, but he put me down on my feet, but my head felt dizzy as he took my hand and walked away into the night with me by his side. I leaned my head on his shoulder as he laughed with a musical tone that made a choir looked like child's play. I smiled, but my eyes drifted as I tightened my grip on his hand, to make sure he wouldn't leave me.
