Isolation

Isolation

A Poem by Kristin

Let the downpour flow with faded eyes
With a shadowed hand, regrets are all lies.
A pure tear of depression, but a holy light,
Remembering that name, a reflected surface turned white.
Rushing waves of all my last fears
For you to hide a quivering yell, for no one could hear.
The world in the hands at the sunset dawn,
One last breath, drowning inside one’s self so long.
Lonely River down my face, blackness surrounds me.
How much farther do I have to go before you see?
Dazzled mark of Cupid’s bow, to the very depths so low,
Shadowed enemy in the hollow darkness, of the wave’s last foe.
Whispers to the last degree, empty hearts of pure terror.
Collapsing at the thought of no one cares.
Goodbye my dawning ocean, heaven’s pure glow cast out.
Fait has locked me in my own isolation, left in the sea.
Rain has finally made its mark upon me.
Losing myself, in my own self doubt.
