My Sanctuary

My Sanctuary

A Poem by Kristin
"

KMP** Dated: 2008. A Place not known to anyone, but my mind.

"

My sanctuary, my sanctuary
Where all is kept secret
When nothing can escape
As one shall enter

Closing the door
Or closing the mind
Not many doors to choose from
As one is left behind

My sanctuary, held in place
As a drive through the halls
As one is lost
For another is found

A key that you still love
Or a key shall you hate
For depriving you of luck
As secrets may spill, you were too late

I couldn’t help
I couldn’t cry
But yet my sanctuary
Still held tight

Breaking the walls
Or breaking the door
You’ll never get closer
As I crave for more.
