See No Longer

See No Longer

A Poem by Kristin
"

KMP** Dated: 2008. SEE NO LONGER

"

Blazing fury of pure light
Dim darkness, blurry in the night

Your name aligned in my eye
Here upon my heart, I may lie

To see you walk away tonight
Jesus’s hands hold me tight

Hollow figure stalking
In my own mind, I’m not talking

For he is the one who took command
As I couldn’t even see my own hand

Losing another in his path
Flesh torn fury of his wrath

Flaming flood over the sea
For the ocean lost sense of me

No longer standing still
Heartless shadow starts to kill

Breathless pain
Upon my shame

I call to the heavens above
Wiping away my love

Brown eyed turned solid white
My own soul could no longer fight

Falling to the past
Running through the words you said, off task

Thinking of his smile
For I couldn’t wait awhile

Dieing in the sand of the current’s set
Getting caught in his own net

Being strangled till not one more word unsaid,
Could be felt through the thickness of the hated dread
