Tonight

Tonight

A Poem by Kristin
"

KMP** Dated: 2008. A poem, duh! xD Called Tonight, no way!

"

Stars in the eyes of the moon
Above the surface of heaven, to lie in the sea tonight
Awaiting the presence of a shadow’s call, so soon
Tonight in the dark. A light at first dawn relives a dream.. My last sight

Pure torture of the ice crystal’s dance, tonight how I wish for he.
Who could replace a cherished moment with the rising trust?
Whispers of the trees, reflected stranger in the distant sea.
Ten years in the past, a moonlit blossom smiles, but fades away to dust.

Shining grave upon one’s last remark, upon a spirit’s life
Moments die as I am alone tonight, with only myself to blame.
I swear to the gods above, I pray with ease, I shall protect them all, so I hold this knife.
As tonight comes to an end, tell the shallow rocks under sea, to forgive my shame.

I’ve been played, I’ve been watched, but you, my friend, as time grows short tonight
Just to let it rain, as I collapse with no heart beat.
Running with your image, shunned by society for this I see light.
Until my soul is bound by words, I bid you goodbye till we meet

That I no longer cry with the sky, I’m no longer alone.
I’ve been forgotten, memories of me died, until again
I see he, it’s my turn to live and make my name known, tonight
