Clogs Of TimeA Poem by Inner RainA Poem
The days are longer without you;
And the sunset, a dull hue. Like a flower in bloom, wilting; Once a vibrant scarlet, fading. The moon is gone, like the stars; So the hopeless night keeps our hearts. Music floats in the air, candles twinkle; The rain in the clouds pour, droplets drizzle. There will be tears upon the leaves, When the early dawn approaches. Crystal clear glass, shatters; Paper hearts, torn to tatters. The clogs of time constantly turn; Ever forward, ready to learn. Like the dawn, ever rising; Like a genuine gift, always surprising. © 2011 Inner RainReviews
