The KissA Poem by Inner RainA poem of the kiss i wish i had...
So close, only inches away
A moment turns to seconds, seconds into heartbeats Hearts purse, breaths halt, and soft lips gape Arms embrace, eyes close and lose control Dive in, take the plunge, let all the world come to a stop Feel the flood, feel the passion of love Barriers break, hearts hear hymns, bold breaths deepen Open your eyes, see the world anew and colourful Take in a breath, feel your own heart soften Feel it with your eyes, two lovers, two misfits Let go of the consciences on your left and right side Smell it in the air, lick it upon your lips Here you go again. So close, just one inch the max Take in another breath, throw the world yonder and beyond Arms circle, blood tingles, love lives, lips dance, breaths lapse © 2010 Inner Rain |
