New Moon

New Moon

A Poem by Inner Rain
"

10/27/10 & 10/28/10 & 11/20/10

"
Your locks,
Are like the shadows of dancing trees,
Swaying against the faded moon.
Ever changing,
With each of the moon's phase,
Your light shines with different strengths and shapes;
But you are the face,
One in the same...

When your light shines most bright,
Your whole heart i see.
When the moon is absent tonight,
It's your eyes i will cleave.
Striving through the night and with the dark
I will have a shining moon in my heart...
