When Our Fates Collide

When Our Fates Collide

A Poem by Inner Rain
"

A Rondeau

"
You have made my day with just a cup of coffee
You have quickly swept me up with that smile i see
Oooh, your wondrous voice gave me that much-needed-kick
Oww, you froze my moist heart with little treat or trick
I see our fine future and i hereby decree

You will steal my stubborn heart so beautifully
Right there and then by the old singing music tree
Right by those red walls of love-baked and love-built bricks
Once our true fates collide

I wont allow time to take you away from me
Together with me you will stay, you will soon see
We will dance, we will sing, we'll play, collide and click
Then and there and forever we will tightly stick
Forever to hold and I'll make you smile with glee
Once our true fates collide

It's nice and it follows the form. I can't really say that there is anything wrong with what you have done, but I would suggest that you probe more deeply into the meaning. Oooh and Oww?? Not very poetic words (but that's jst my opinion)

Nice - a sweet and pensive poem. I also know just what you mean about the way some people can affect you so much just by their simple deeds. Good job!
