The Raven's Train

The Raven's Train

A Poem by Inner Rain
"

"
The whistle blows
The train descends to a place unknown
The wheels start with a screech
And in surprise my heart skips a beat

The coat of the train is painted solid night
Just like the color of the hours never polite
The seats are scarlet with the stains of love-down-the-drain
May i see your ticket please? Welcome aboard the raven's train!
