AngelA Poem by Inner Rain11/03/09
Above your head you may not wear a halo
And not everyone will see your unselfish glow You don't have wings, to the heavens you cant fly But like wings of an angel, you carry me into the sky In your heart i know you have little greed So ill just follow your voice in my head, the voice i need No one can see you like the i always do That behind the skin of the world, no one could be more enchanting than you Never think "I'm hideous! No one likes me..." I would wait in the rain all night just to make you see You are special, shining out from deep within the bone Let me remind you; I'm here, you are never alone Alone? How can i ever let you be? When all this time; your an angel, to me... © 2010 Inner Rain |
