Surrounded - 10/09/09

Trapped in these four corners
Imprisoned by these four walls
A lifeless soil at my feet
And a hue-less sky above my head

I can feel you coming closer
Yet you do not answer to my calls
I can feel the burning of my heartbeat
Then i drop so quickly, i feel almost dead

I tear up your picture, to see it again never
In you my friend, i found it all
But you broke me, then had to leave
Forever haunted, by you, surrounded

Nicely written, at first I didn't figure out why I liked it, I'm ashamed it took me a second reading to find out the rhyming scheme, I liked the topic you chose for this poem. Beautiful, great writing. Keep up the good work.
