The desert heat is unbearable
Fathoms deep was the pool i once cried
A roller-coaster ride completely unstable
Every little burning truth denied
A midnight's haunting incomparable
Every rule and regulation defied
No moistness, just dryness in my eye
I feel nothing, no longer can i cry
You've gone to never come back
Sailing on a ship and making port
Flying on a plane, to land far away
Instantly my world tuned a dull solid black
No one to hold me high and give any support
Darker than a misty afternoon, turned has my day
Hiding underground while up above, planes bombard
Digging without directions to the earth's core
Running aimlessly down miles of orchard
Sailing at sea, lost with no land to drop anchor
Seven months, i have bitterly wept buckets long and hard
So hard, my water supply spewed dry, i cant cry anymore
