Silent Nights

Silent Nights

A Poem by Inner Rain

My silent moonlights are now so lonely
No more late nights speaking for hours at a time
No more singing and playing while your talking to me
None of your funny gestures for me to mime

The phone never rings when i want it to
I wait night and day for it to "wriiiiing!"
I pick up the phone only to find out it isn't you
You cant call me, and my mobile never sings
