My Milestone

My Milestone

A Poem by Inner Rain

Every memory good and the dreadfully bad
I wish to lose them to the deceitful mist
Every token of you, i wish now, them i never had
Leave you all behind, and check the items on my list

I will drive for many, many, many miles
All towards the sun; far from you and forever away
I will no longer tear, i will never again sigh
Do not worry about me, i will, from now on be okay

In my old and deserted home
Sitting in a corner all alone
There is my past's milestone
