Senses For Sale

Senses For Sale

A Poem by Inner Rain

I take a deep breath
There are days when I cannot breathe
I fall into a deep sleep
In where, never can I rest

I open my eyes
But I cannot hear
And i listen with my ears
But still, I cannot see

I can't see the sun and the stars
In my sky-less day
I can't see the clouds and the birds
In my day-less nights

Oh, the snow so warm
Ah, the sun so cold
Ouch, you have done me harm
To you, my senses I have sold
