Drink Of Color

Drink Of Color

A Poem by Inner Rain
"

A French Sonnet

"

Gleam of blue, and a drink of of odd hues
Cherry mint, lemon fizz, raspberry zip
Look at that sap rainbow! Go hit the booze
Watch it! Careful not to spill or drip
Slowly take in the colours with each sip
So delicious, simply hard to refuse
So many tints, makes it hard to choose
Don't forget to leave the waiter a tip

What time is it? Will we ever stop? When?
Oh my! I think i lost my phone again!

What's the harm? No one could be much duller!
Whoops! Your vision is bubbly blue again
You start to drunk dance with the patrolmen
Have another vivid drink of color

It paints a new picture seen by many, many people. Made me chuckel and shiver, I esspecially like the color shock at the end, having been there from my pov of the poem. Well written, and creative.
