I Mourn

I Mourn

A Poem by Inner Rain
"

A Keats Sonnet

"

I mourn for you, as if you were dead
Not because you are
But because you have murdered my heart

I mourn for a brother, from your family he has fled
I pray that he hasn't gone far
If he is to be found, let me know if God allows

I mourn for your sister, peacefully did she depart
Rest may her head
Sing her a song with your guitar

I mourn for your soul, your just too smart
You have a high IQ, but your emotionally stupid
You see everything with eyes, yet you are blind

I mourn for you, a victim of Cupid
Yet for you the sun has not shined
