Time

A French Sonnet

The world is slowly ticking all away
Seconds, and minutes, then hours go by
It wont be long till we will all say goodbye
Soon the dark night will become the bright day

Once beautiful colors will soon turn grey
A change no magic can ever defy
You cant stop the rains of early July
Nor can stop the rise and fall of the bay

Time is forever ticking, it wont cease
We can just hope it will bring us some peace

There is no use giving time up for you
When you wont give me at least a second
I'm not asking for you to stick like glue
In me i need you to ever reckon
