Singing Stars

Singing Stars

A Poem by Inner Rain
"

A Shakespearean Sonnet

"

Give ear to the chimes of the night
Blooming on the blue fields of dark
Hear the hymn of stars shining bright
To them you must not resist to hark

Think of the journey you shall embark
Dream of all the dreams you could wish for
Don't even try to give a smart remark
Don't make dreaming a dreadful chore

What is it that make tis music so sweet?
All wrong and pain it defies
Consume the roaring beat
So shut your glinting eyes

Listen to them sing multitudinous bars
Come, and listen to the singing stars
