Rose With Thorns

Rose With Thorns

A Poem by Inner Rain
"

A Shakespearean Sonnet

"

Love has its joys and faults
Just as a rose has thorns
Thorns may cause you to halt
They may cause you to mourn

Think carefully what you wish for
Accept all of me, if what you want is love
Ill be someone you will hate and adore
Like a painful peck from a white dove

Ill be your light, in the night
Ill be the sun, and the rain
Ill be faithful when we fight
Ill be your joy, ill be your pain

If you will accept all of me
Give me a rose with thorns and glee

This is a Magnificent piece of Fine art! You have captured perfectly and symbolized the intricate balance of life...while demonstrating that with all that we love we have to accept the pitfalls that are inherent and bound within. Thanks for sharing such an Excellent piece!

I loved this piece. Just one grammatical error..did you mean "Like a painful peck from a white dove"? Aside from that, this was fantastic!

Oh what loveliness, what emotions, they will talk to stones
I ll be your light..I ll be your night,I am the sun and your rain
I am forever faithful even when you fight me,I am your joy ,still I am your pain
You will accept all of me,I am your rose, and I am your thorns
Think careful what you want,Accept me all if love is what you want
I will be your hate, and all things you adore..like a painful dove..
God what loveliness my friend those words would speak and melt a heart of stone
lovely write..
