Dagger So Sweet

Dagger So Sweet

A Poem by Inner Rain

Its blade shines like silver
Its handle white as the moon
Its tip covered by deception
Its void, your mutilation

The cold flows through the blade
And into the arteries of your heart
A Dagger so sweet
A pain so unique

In this destiny
You have no life
Plunged into a world of pain
With sweet dagger you'd rather remain

Take her with you in the dark
See her body glow in the moonlight
But beware, for she is ever so sweet
And soon, your face will be covered with a white sheet
