With You

With You

A Poem by Inner Rain

As the hustle & bustle of people fly by
Were sitting at the foot of the story just you & I
You hold my hand & I hold yours
If we could, we will just sit here for hours

My heart beats as a friend says “Hi!”
My pulse jumps when a teacher walks by
I am wishing no one would foresee
We are hope they will just let us be

You put your arm around me
Hoping no one will see
I rest my head against yours
But wearily of course

I would rather be like this with you alone
Than sitting bored at home
I really enjoy being with you
I hope you feel the same way too

I feel tired of the day we have been through
Knowing it was not just me & you
Bored of lessons in class
I wish they‘d been the very last

Resting with you in the middle of the day
Without really much to say
I am sitting alone with you
Wishing this time will not pass right through
