Silence, Hope, Courage

Silence, Hope, Courage

A Poem by Inner Rain

The night surrounds,
The light begins to fade,
Do not lose hope,
There will be a way.

You light a match,
The Wind blows it away.
In silence you wait,
For the bright light of day;

Daybreak comes,
A far distance away;
In the lonely darkness,
You should not remain.

Gather your hope,
Your courage too;
Turn against the dark,
And walk away.
