They Forced Me

Some feelings will always be known by certain people

I don't understand, can't comprehend,

the powers every human has, but only in one form.

Never will they realize they hold it, the ability.

They open eyes and hearts and minds.

They predict new stories, tell old legends.

Force us into memories long passed.

 

I cannot get it, cannot see,

the strength in them, the power put in me.

Never did I realize they could tell.

They read my eyes, my heart, and mind.

They predict what will happen, tell my past.

Force me into feelings long felt.

 

I just deny it, refuse it,

the power over me, the hold thats on me.

Never did you realize they knew all along.

They exposed my eyes and mind, my heart.

They predict my next thought, tell my next action.

Force me into prayers long wished.

 

I know it, believe it,

the strength of this feeling, the force of its beat.

Always have I realized that it will never go away.

You saw in my eyes, my heart... my mind.

You predict my next phrase, tell my next emotion.

Force me into phrases long said.
