Don't Hurt Me

Don't Hurt Me

A Poem by Inkybro

To you,
The girl who taught me to use the heater.
Thank you for keeping me warm,
Figuratively and literally.
I mean, I like what I see,
And I want what I see.
Yes, it's been given thought.
I miss you, and I just want
To fall in love.
I guess this is all the reason
For me asking
Can I come back?

Don't get me wrong,
It's not all s***s and giggles.
I'm not in this for games,
And definitely not for hate.
And if you don't want to be happy,
And let me be happy,
And show you that I care,
And if you don't want to show me
That you care,
Then I'm just saying,
Please don't come back.
I miss you,
But please,
Don't hurt me.
