New Desires

New Desires

A Poem by Brandon Wile

You invited me inside

To complement your sin

The kind we drown in

Before learning to swim

I'm sinking into this

To indulge in the rain

Of the storm we create

This lust, our hurricane

The ways we fall apart

Into each other's arms

With an animals desire

Inside this human heart

The skin of another

Brings a strange comfort

To die for a moment

And not feel a thing
