Sleepless Night

I lay alone in bed,

and stare at the starry sky,

Thoughts floating in my head,

I don't have the strength to cry,

 

Love left my side,

I let it go,

How should I survive this endless night,

Without you by my side.

 

Come back darlin,

and hold me tight,

Stop my heart from hurting,

Sing me your beautiful lullaby.

 

Instead I lay awake,

teary eyed,

enduring heart ache,

On this Sleepless Night.
