Black rain

Black rain fell from the night sky,

and fell into my teary, brown eyes.

That night my heart was broken,

even before you had spoken.

you just stood there looking at the ground,

makig my heart pound.

As you said those hurtful words,

They didn't sound that absurd,

Then you left me in the rain,

to feel the lonesome pain,

That night I realized,

That black rain fell from the sky.

I enjoyed this poem it expressed great emotion and we have all been there when Someone breaks your heart I really enjoyed the line Then you left me in the rain,
to feel the lonesome pain, Although you previously said that the words didn't sound absurd I feel that you have fully acknowledged that although you may have understood the reasons you still feel the pain and with the concept of using rain to cleanse this feeling I have to say your poem is structurally sound and very well written good job I am looking forward to reading more from you
