Package

Package

A Poem by Inkh(e)art

A box that read, “please open me”

With pretty package glittering

And curiosity thus intriguing

To unfold every corner

An organ wrapped in comely paper

And silver armor to make it safer

But all my work and toiled labor

Will bare a bright inside

But in her heart there was no gold

No sparkles every promise told

No buried treasures to behold

No worth or things that mattered

For what good are things not tangible,

Unusable, and impractical?

I only fancied valuable

So I threw away the box

Your poetry sincerely is layered to metaphorical perfection to the point where readers need to read them two or three times to really get the picture. This particular poem being an exemplary example of this. ¡Maravilloso!
