Bait and HookA Poem by Inked Superman
You ask me what's with the smile,
Not realizing it's been there awhile. It's a smile that is kinda stuck, It saw my soul and it struck. Seeing you, it comes to my face, I know cause I feel my heart race. Hate I have to force myself mute, Sitting there you're so damn cute. You sit there reading a comic book, For me it was like a bait and hook. The smile and I just could not hide, As I wanted to go sit at your side. Don't even know what it is you do, How much I crave to be with you. How much I miss holding your hand, How it would make me feel so grand. How you seem to know the real me, How happy we always seem to be. How you look when you take a nap, How with you there isn't any crap. You make it easy for me to write, My rhymes seem to put up no fight. I can stare at you like you're an art, Melt when I seen you drew a heart. A smile I can not seem to contain, You're able to melt away my pain. I know us meeting was just fate, I believe you're worth this wait. never have I felt this kind of bliss, Never craved so much for a kiss. I believe everything will be fine, Trust soon your hand will be in mine. Who knew a movie was just the start, Hugging, Kissing, not wanting to be apart.
