The Girl From Far Away

The Girl From Far Away

A Poem by Inked Superman

With my pen I go to lay,
Writing to the Girl From Far Away.
Now I work from day to day,
To visit the Girl From Far Away.
I save earnings for the weeks stay,
To hang with the Girl From Far Away.
Skies have turned from their grey,
Thanks to the Girl From Far Away.
To doubters saying stay I say nay,
I must go see the Girl From Far Away.
The trust in her I'll refuse to let stray,
For I believe in the Girl From Far Away.
Now I hit my knees and begin to pray,
Over the trip to the Girl From Far Away.
All I hope is she feels the same way,
How I feel about the Girl From Far Away.
I now believe it's clear and safe to say,
I've started to like the Girl From Far Away.
