Death Addiction

Death Addiction

A Poem by Inked Superman

Do I remember the pain,
Yes every last dark stain.
In the rain I would drown,
After swallowing the pills down.
Days become weeks and blur,
Thinking death is the cure.
Ultimately it would set me free,
Not like anyone would miss me.
Alcohol would follow the pills,
Poison replaced all my meals.
The Devil begins to pull,
As my blood begins to pool.
To die was my addiction,
Then God showed me salvation.
Opened my eyes to the sight,
Something to make me fight.
Living no longer a fear,
Now happy to be here.
If you're stuck in a pit,
Faith can help you fill it.
