A Strand

In a single moment I awoke,
Realizing it was no joke.
Life starting to seem grand,
Happiness I can't demand.
God laughed and showed me,
What to do in order to be free.
Now I sit back and just wait,
Letting God decide my fate.
Feel like I'm but a strand,
Waiting to see where I stand.
Knowing God has a plan for me,
Just have to trust, hope, and see.
