One Day

There on my bed I lay,
Dreading the next day.
Hoping it's better than the last,
I don't want to repeat the past.
Looking out to the stars above,
Praying to one day find true love.
To me love is something unseen,
Maybe it's cause life is so mean.
Unlike others, I'm not a clone,
Maybe that's why I'm all alone.
To me love is just another task,
But that's me hiding behind a mask.
I had to stop going to the park,
Seeing couples put me in the dark.
I look and see people having a blast,
