A mothers heavy load !

A pillar of strength

 

Strength is not just about doing everything for all around you

Sometimes the strength is to say no

Let them learn from their mistakes

Its part of life, its giving them what it takes

To get though life's ups and downs

Tough Love, we may call it!

Why do we feel we can’t say no?

It’s their right to walk that road and its curves

And learn by mistakes and by giving things the body swerve

Yes it’s all a learning curve

 

So when we Mums feel the need to be this pillar of strength

Take five minutes to just sit and be.......

Have a cup of Tea

Think about it for a while

Is it their need or ours we fulfil?

By saying yes when we mean no

If we do say no? Will the world fall apart

I don’t think so!

And what good will we be if we keep saying yes

Being pulled in every direction it’s tricky; we end up in a mess

Sometimes, just, sometimes we need to sit and think about me!
