Snow Falling on EmbersA Poem by A.J.
She was
dancing, beneath the tree As I shook
the snow loose from its arms And it
looked just like a scene from a crystal ball Her tongue
outstretched- her hair caught up in the breeze
I thought
it strange, in a funny sort of way With me up
there, and an angel on the ground gazing up, With eyes
just for me, lit by fires burning deep internally, the world
so far away from this place, where only we held sway
and I wondered,
just how long this would be how long did
we have in this crystal ball how long
would her eyes melt the snows just for me when the
snows were all gone, the snows were all gone. © 2015 A.J.Reviews
