Mortal Immortality

Mortal Immortality

A Poem by Aaron Parker
"

If you know mythology, this is the poem for you!

"

My spirit, the gypsy

It wonders so

Frolicking in intrigue

And luxurious desperation

*

Time rumples

Galaxies tear

Lives begin and end

*

No matter the cost,

None is for time

None is for space

None is for renewal

*

Ceres, you have relinquished our child

*

Brothers contest for sustenance

Defying mortality and binds

*

They realize not the consequence

Not thinking or reasoning

Stupid like animals

*

I was unjust

But, Loki has not deceived you,

This was your own doing

*

Janus leaves all doors open,

But one will remain forever closed

Author's Note

Aaron Parker
It's a combination of Norse and Roman mythologies. The big "fact-check-mistake" was intentional. Honesty is appreciated.
