So distant we are

Time running fast and making  it so hard

It felt like yesterday but 2 years is so far

From where we were to who we are

Now

Please don't blame it all on me

I had a lot of problems fall on me

I told you, you could always call on me

So why be mad at me? now you have guilt swallowing me

I thought at first I belong to you

However, I noticed I did something wrong to you

Not being able  to try and get along with you

Not many people I fell for, but you were among the few

Then I see you weren't free, so I had to learn to breathe

Being your friend was a God given treat, nothing less nothing more sweet

I like this write! excellent. Maybe a second writing, combined to this could make a great song, I'm sure someone would be interested in writing music to it. Even if its just words, I could hear the music at the back of my head. Great!
