Do you belong in my world?/I am lost in you

Do you belong in my world?/I am lost in you

A Poem by Inkoutdapen

The girl

Do you belong in my world?

A time of knowing

Distance in between

The empty space filled, by us growing

You kept my heart warm

As you held me in your arms

With your wonderful charm

I tend to wonder

If you are a star

Because

You made my wish come true

That if I had to be in love

It could only be with you

The Boy

I am lost in you

It seems I fell

Before I couldn’t even begin to dwell

That maybe this living pain could possibly be hell

My interrupted thoughts caused by an angel’s spell

Who would’ve known my emotions would erupt so soon?

My heart feels as if it is walking on a moon

People asked “Is this love true?”

I replied

“She gave me the wings to fly in her burning heart...

As she held my pain”

I really like this poem. Really easy to relate to for a lot of people. I like the way you really described what each character is feeling. A poem should do a good job of capturing emotions, and yours did exactly that. I loved that about your poem. You seem like a great writer, keep it up. x

Fantastic!! I've never read anything like it! Omygosh, that's amazing. I never in a thousand years would have ever thought of splitting up a love poem that was "written" by two people. The love in the *poem is so apparent. All I have left to say is... Wow. I loved it. Nice job. :)
