White overnightA Poem by JessiA little playful poem for each one of us who are as children in the snow.
Crystal snow flakes fall from the sky,
I catch them as they swirl and fly. Each one sculpted by wintry angel hands, Consumed with child-like wonder of where each will land. The world turned white overnight, Oh, I squealed at the sight! If I could be a snowflake, So fair and light! To fall and land wherever I'd like. Mittened hands and rosy cheeks, I listen to the music as the frozen sky leaks. In a snowglobe with everything glazed, Nothing exists outside this wonderful place. The child in me will always exist, For such days and wintery bliss. She'll always love to play in the snow, Covered and wrapped from head to toe. © 2015 JessiReviews
