House in the sky

House in the sky

A Poem by The Ink Chapters
"

My favourite passages of an inspirational book about survival I put together into a poem . House in the sky.

"
Felt like I was falling through space, tumbling through a vast textureless emptiness, with no holds, no chance for self-arrest

Blue veins under opaque skin

Something vaguely like hope began to crackle, a single ember in an otherwise extinguished pit

I felt the first trickle of relief, a feeling so unfamiliar that I almost couldn’t identify it

It’s hard to be mad when you need someone so fundamentally

I was alone, Myself, caught inside my body, caught inside my life

Dull bone-marrow ache

It’s only your body that is suffering, and you are not your body. The rest of you is fine

It told me to look for good, because good was always there

Author's Note

The Ink Chapters
(Writing is key, reading is key. Side note is anyone else just absolutely suffering so indescribably right now? How is life this fucking tragic ? I think it’s mocking at this point)
